Before beginning your LytxOne Gateway installation, make sure your vehicle is compatible and that you have everything you need in hand.
Vehicle Compatibility
The LytxOne Gateway is designed to work with almost any vehicle, with minimal compatibility requirements. Depending on your vehicle type, the Gateway connects through a diagnostic port (OBD-II for light-duty vehicles, J1939 or J1708 for medium and heavy-duty vehicles) or through a direct hardwire connection. LytxOne Main Package
The primary package includes the core components necessary to get your LytxOne system operational:

LytxOne Gateway: The central unit responsible for collecting vehicle telematics data and managing connectivity between the system and the LytxOne platform.

LytxOne Camera: A dual-lens dashcam offering both road-facing and cabin-facing views for video monitoring.

Safety Screwdriver: A specialized tool provided for securing and adjusting the system during installation.
Installation Kit
For a complete and professional installation, the following accessories are available in the optional installation kit:

Cable: Connects the LytxOne Gateway to your vehicle. See LytxOne Gateway Cables to find the cable for your vehicle type.

Zip Ties: Help organize and secure cables, so the installation stays neat and safe.

Alcohol Wipe: Cleans the windshield surface for optimal adhesion of the dashcam's 3M mounting pads.

Cable Clips: Keep cables firmly in place, so they don't interfere with the vehicle's operation or driver safety.
